I love skiing with Rich and Julie because it hasn't ever felt like I'm being guided. Instead I'm in this complex and interesting terrain with a variable snowpack with friends, fun hogs really, orchestrating a tour that has never, in 18 years, been less than spectacular. In addition to making a yearly religious pilgrimage (a.k.a. a weeklong fly-in backcountry ski lodge trip) to BC, we've backcountry skied in the Japanese Alps twice, and snow machine toured in the Golden backcountry and toured the sidecountry around the Kicking Horse ski hill. My friends and I are so lucky to have found them.
